We love Furry Friends and Dr. Crovo and her staff. They are always friendly, knowledgeable and truly value the animal's well being. We had our 11 year old golden retriever put down at our house (he died of natural causes) and it was the most peaceful (although sad) way for him to go. He died in our arms and for that, I am forever grateful.

They came over to my home since my cats hate travel and/or being boxed up. Was very professional, even though my cat gave them so much trouble. But they took care of him, and love how helpful and knowledgeable they are. I just set up my follow-up appointment with them yesterday. Their home visits are the absolute best!
I had wanted to have Melanie see one of our dogs before, but I took the dog back to our previous vet recently, because Melanie was booked up at that moment. The dog has been having serious behavioral issues. The whole experience in dealing with the other vet was very frustrating. She required that we try herbal supplements before she would try prescription meds, then afterward tried to still refuse to give us anything at the follow-up visit. Kept telling us to do training. This was despite telling her over and over again about the extensive quality professional dog training we have had done, our own diligent efforts, and our having exhausted all avenues. She (original vet) kept insisting that medication wouldn't help. Why you decide to become a physician when you don't want to utilize medication when other efforts have failed is beyond me.
My Coon Hound is a rescue and was abused early in life. Fortunately she has adapted to trusting me and has become a loving and loyal pet. But, she will NOT get in a car. Furry Friends makes house calls. That is a wonderful element. Not to mention, Dr. Melanie Crovo is a kind and excellent animal physician. I could not be happier. A-List!

Dr. Crovo and her staff are always timely, provide wonderful care and super friendly. They save me countless hours of travel by coming to the house and it is far less stressful for my kitties. They are great!
I called Melanie and our 20 minute conversation was INFINITELY more insightful and helpful than the protracted appointments with the other vet. Much more encouraging, more reasonable - just night and day.
