I went into Gillespie's office of Allstate Insurance. I worked with Summer. She was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. She explained the what's and whys of every item on my policies. They were able to get me better insurance ( car and home) with lower deductables. I highly recommend them.
I will not do business with these people again. Poor Customer Service. I switched from Liberty Mutual, about 30 days ago, and today I got a Notice of Cancellation letter for one of my properties because the Liability coverage was too high. they should told me that, before leaving Liberty. Now looking to return back to Liberty.
WOW. Terrible. We chose to use this agency after relocating back to Roanoke after my husband completed his medical residency in Michigan due to my deceased grandparents' business with this agency. This Allstate branch has not only cost my husband and me thousands of dollars because of their mistakes and they also had terrible customer service by not contacting us after our bank contacted them with the issues. We have continued to reach out to Mr. Gillispe himself concerning our issues and he has not returned our phone calls. I do not recommend this insurance agency to any new comers to the area or to people that have lived in Roanoke their whole lives. I have lost all confidence in Mr. Gillispe and his subordiance (except Summer, she has fixed all of our problems) and am looking for another agency to transfer my accounts to.
